after a number of years spent dissecting musical structures in relative
isolation, asteroth moved to bristol in 2002 with the intention
of reassembling them. his fledgling efforts are glitch-ridden affairs,
exploring intricate textures across gentle melodic contours. tracks are
featured on the forthcoming clean cut compilation and on a split
asteroth / knowledge of bugs ep, which is
to be put out on his own float label in association with bug
brand. a solo asteroth ep is planned for release later in the spring;
rumours that it will be constructed using only a dictaphone are as yet
unconfirmed. |
