punksi's first venture in music was his first night, consensus, held
at the maze club in bristol in january 2001. while this was a popular
and enjoyable night, things didn't kick off until the launch of the clean
cut nights in june 2002. since then his nights have been an attempt to
achieve a broad range of the musical spectrum.
in his time as a dj he has played a diversity of nights and always enjoyed
the opportunity to reach new and unsuspecting ears. currently you'll find
him gracing the decks at: toxic dancehall, float,
dissident
parties, and also the dilemma nights at cosies. he also hosts his weekly
radio show on www.burstradio.org.uk
on mondays from 8pm til 10pm.
outside of djing punksi's projects have included participation with a
number of bristol musicians (between 7 & 11) in the locked-groove
orchestra, collaborating with members of the muzaak korrporation in
books at bedtime, and singing and rapping (badly) on twocsinak's
records.
